ROOM TO EXPLORE

Adventure stretches far beyond the snowmobile seat.

Ski: Whether you’re a Nordic, cross-country, or backcountry skier, you’ll find groomed trails and plenty of powder on which to earn your hot cocoa or hot toddy. Read about Kathryn Montana Perkinson’s skiing adventure in Dubois.

Two Ocean is a particularly special ski destination because it’s home to some of
the oldest skiing in the area. In fact, years ago there was a rope tow to pull you
uphill!

Fat bike: This bike sport is the fastest growing segment in cycling and a big part of the winter scene in Lander and Dubois.

Dog sled tour: Continental Divide Dog Sled Adventures is the only company in Wyoming’s Wind River Country offering dog sled tours on Togwotee Pass.

Ice fish: With snow comes ice, and that brings us to a unique fishing season: ice fishing.

Visit WindRiver.org to explore lodging, delicious eateries, museums, events, and other outdoor and indoor activities.
